HORSEMENS 50th ANNIVERSARY

 

 

Yep it is official - Horsemens Pony Club celebrates its

 

50th Birthday.  That's is quite a record !

 

Horsemens Pony Club started sometime in 1961 - the same year that PCAWA was officially formed. Our records state that our we officially started as a club in 1962. The club was originally  not located at our current home at Whiteman Park - but we were actually located on Kalamunda Road - near the Airport.

 

 

HPC moved to our current home at Whiteman Park Equestrian Centre in 1984.

 

 

Did you know that Western Australia's only ever Olympic Equestrian Representative was once a member of Horsemen's?

 

 

Horsemens Pony Club has a very proud list of members who have excelled within their equestrian pursuits  - if you would like to see who they are and what they have achieved please click on this link .

2012 should be an exciting year for the club with the culmination of the celebrations being a formal event to be held in the later part of the year. As always trying to find a date that does not clash with other horsey events - is always going to be a challenge for the club .

 

As our nominated date becomes closer we will update the website with more details in relation to the event.

 

As part of the celebrations - we are looking to see if we can get as much information about the history of the club as we can from past members and or their families. If you can assist us in any way please email richard@acstech.com.au so we can add these valuable assets to the clubs annuals.
