BUSH FIRES AND HORSES - Are you prepared?

 

 

Whilst we all hope a bush fire will not effect us, the events of the last few years certainly serve to remind us that bush fires are sadly a common event in Australia.

 

Most of us who have horses either live in a rural environment or have our horses living in one and as such we need to do a little more planning in the event of being involved in a bushfire.

 

We have attached a PDF document from the Victoria  State Government below that we felt could be used by horse owners in Western Australia. 

 

Whilst some of the information is aimed at  Victorian infrastructure and services, we still feel that this document is worth reading and seeing if you can incorporate some of its advice to your property and circumstances.
